During my recent travels, I found the stay at Le Soleil D'Or in Vimoutiers to be convenient for transit purposes. The hotel is located just 58 km from the nearest airport, making it a practical option for those looking for a place to rest before continuing their journey. the surrounding area has a certain charming appeal, which adds to the overall ambiance of the hotel.

I must mention that Le Soleil D'Or appeared quite tired and in need of some refreshing. I experienced some disappointment during my visit as I arrived for dinner at 8pm and felt unwelcome and like a nuisance.

The location in the middle of town was superb, with a lovely view of the church and town square from our room's Juliette balcony. The room was clean and had everything we needed, including a comfy bed. The staff welcomed us by name and provided a full briefing of what to expect. Free parking outside in the square was a bonus.

The hotel had a charming decor with beautiful antique furniture that reminded me of my childhood. The general areas were well-maintained and had a cozy atmosphere, perfect for relaxing. The hotel was also easily accessible for senior people like myself, with ramps and elevators provided for convenience.

It would have been nice if the children working there had been more attentive to the needs of senior guests. A bit more assistance and consideration would have made the vacation even better for us.

Wonderful stay at Le Soleil D'Or! I spent a relaxing weekend in a cozy room with a stunning view of the town square. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The room was spacious, clean, and had all the amenities I needed, including a bath and a shower. The bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The central location was perfect, allowing me to explore the town easily. Free parking in the square was also a great convenience. a fantastic experience!

The restaurant at the hotel was excellent. The staff provided great service and even explained the menu in English. The food was of excellent quality and reasonably priced. the location of the hotel was central, with a lovely view over the town square. Despite the hotel's shortcomings, the room we stayed in was spacious, warm, and clean. The bed was comfortable, which made for a decent night's sleep.

The hotel was outdated and in desperate need of renovation. Everything creaked, the furniture was old, and the facilities were outdated.

Charming village location with a taste of French history. Despite some creaky furniture and outdated facilities, the warm room provided a cozy night's sleep. The highlight was the excellent restaurant with its English explanations and delicious food, all at a reasonable price. I would recommend this unique experience.
